Greco's Mate:

Greco's mate is another popular way of checkmating involving the Queen & Bishop. The checkmate works by using the bishop to trap in the black king by use of the black g-pawn and subsequently using the queen to attack the king by moving it to the edge of the board. In this example, White plays Bc4+, forcing the king to the edge of the board, where the queen can slide over to h3 delivering a mate. The black pawn traps in the king, preventing an escape square.
