Arabian Mate:

A very basic checkmating pattern that involves the knight and Rook. In this position, the king is already in one of the corner squares - which is key for this checkmate to be possible. The Knight protects two escape squares (g8 and h7). The Rook from a2 goes to h7 and delivers the mate. This could also be called the "Scorpion Checkmate".
